Young Adults Retreat 2025 - No Matter How Messy...It Will Make Sense
This year’s retreat was themed “No matter how messy it gets…it will all make sense”. The premise was that sometimes we don't understand the life circumstances we find ourselves in, but we must trust that God knows why, and he will work all things according to His will. We must surrender and know that when God sees fit, he will help us understand and learn from these circumstances. Learning these lessons leads to wisdom and spiritual growth. Not waiting patiently on God will lead to more difficulties.
Some examples and talks focused on certain Bible characters and their situations. Like Joseph being sold into servitude and the many tribulations he went through.

At the time he couldn't understand why, but in the end, God worked it out for the good of his people and Joseph came to understand the purpose of it all. Distinctions were made on messes that we create ourselves versus the ones that happen to us through no fault of our own. Like David and the sins that he did that led to more messes. These messes were later called out to him by the prophet Nathan. On the other hand, there was the woman who had an issue of blood for twelve years that she did nothing to deserve, but Jesus used her as an example of faith then he healed her. The focus was on examining ourselves, making sure we did not cause our problems because of our sins. When we are going through something, we must surrender to God so he can help us through it and also help us to understand the why.
Some verses that were given focused on how we must go through these trials with the grace and strength that only God can provide us.
Romans 5:3-5
'And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. '
1 Peter 4:12
'Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: '

Level Up: A Youth Retreat of Spiritual Growth and Joy
Church of God 7th Day Youth Retreat
This year’s Church of God 7th Day youth retreat was more than just a getaway—it was a transformative journey wrapped in joy, fellowship, and spiritual empowerment. With the electrifying theme “Level Up,” young participants were invited to explore their faith in a fresh, interactive way that blended biblical truths with creative expression.
“Level Up” wasn’t just a catchy slogan—it was a call to action. Through engaging workshops, heartfelt worship, and dynamic discussions, youth were challenged to grow deeper in their walk with God, to strengthen their spiritual disciplines, and to embrace the next step in their faith journey.
🎮 Avatars and Achievements
One of the most beloved elements of the retreat was the personalized avatar system. Each youth received a stylized avatar representing themselves, and as they participated in activities, demonstrated spiritual growth, and encouraged others, they earned symbolic upgrades—like shields of faith and swords of truth.
As the retreat came to a close, each participant left not only with a leveled-up avatar but with a renewed sense of purpose and connection to God.
